I know, I've been mostly absent again. I just don' t know what to talk about. I'm sort of in a weird place if that makes sense.
Anyway, my new favorite thing is rock wall climbing. I did this once at the spa and really liked it so I joined the gym across the street from my office so that I could rock wall climb regularly. They have a giant rock wall. Granted I'm not that good at it, but I've improved considerably in just the few times that I have done it so far. I have been trying to go regularly on Fridays.
The thing I love about it, is that it shuts off all the noise in my brain. It shuts it off completely. No stress about work, or the fact that there isn't work, no anxiety about it, no irritation over it, it all just disappears, everything. And literally all you can think about is where to step next.
"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot." Eleanor Roosevelt

Please join me in the fight against breast cancer
Hi folks. I know I haven't posted in a long time, and it's only because I have felt like I don't have much to say.
But anyway, as you all know from reading this blog, I am a breast cancer survivor. I was diagnosed on my 29th birthday and am almost a 3 year survivor.
This year I am walking in the Relay for Life in Dexter Michigan on June 20th with family, friends, and other survivors, to benefit cancer research.
Although I have tried to stay as anonymous as possible on this blog, if you are interested in making a donation to my team in my name, please email me at: this.too.shall.pass.inchicago@gmail.com and I will divulge my real identity and send you the link to my donations page.
Thank you in advance for your support - it means the world to me!

Nothing to do, nothing to say
I'm still here, I just don't have much to say. I'll be back with something soon.
