On the upside

Do I ever post about anything happy?  Not really no.  But in the past two days I have gotten some calls for some pretty interesting jobs.  This is great news because I was pretty sure it was going to be difficult to find a job, like next to impossible, and that it was going to take a really long time, given my area of law.  Turns out I could be wrong about that.

There is a part of me, a big part, that is relieved to be gone from my job.  And it's funny because I decided to make all these plans for the time that I have off.  Not working agrees with me.  Going to London, going to Vermont, going home, going to Miraval, my favorite spot in the world.  And now I am thinking damn, I might not have time to do any of this because I might find a job too fast!  Kidding really - I am grateful to have opportunities pop up already and really happy that this might be easier than I thought.

Besides, I am still taking the London trip.  I already had the expensive ticket before my job blew up.  My high school boyfriend, who has lived in London for the past 15 plus years contacted me recently and I have decided to go visit him.  I am leaving on the 10th for a week.  After that, anything is possible.

Oh, and I have a new favorite CD - Benjamin Francis Leftwich - Last Smoke Before the Snowstorm.  Love it!
