Restless among other things

I'm extremely restless today.  Trying to figure out what to do, bored of sitting here, bored of trying to figure it out.  I tried to clean but that didn't hold my attention very long.  I packed my clothes for my trip on Tuesday, made sure everything would fit in a quart sized bag (I hate that restriction), packed everything else that I could.  I worked today for about 3 hours and yesterday for 5.  Amazingly, it didn't make me as angry to work some this weekend - not like it usually does.  I was working to try to make tomorrow go more smoothly and to try to make next week work out okay.  I can't help but think though that it will probably fail.  I have two deadlines threatening my days off.  I have to hope that the client remembers that it is Thanksgiving weekend, duh, and moves the deadline.

I am going to vermont on Tuesday to visit my brother and his family for the holiday.  I am really looking forward to it and looking forward to a break from work.  Going to visit them in Vermont is a lot different than going to visit them in Michigan was.  In Michigan I have other friends, other people to see, other things to do and squeeze in.  I always felt like I was running around to cram it all in.  It's much different going to Vermont, because I have nothing else to do but hang out.  I have a feeling it will be a lot more relaxing.

I am hoping to go climb while I am there on Friday or Saturday.  There is a nice climbing gym near my brother's work so I am taking my shoes.  I'm thinking of buying my own harness, not before this weekend though.  To my shock, my dad has mentioned my climbing and indicated that he would try it.  Now granted he does play volleyball once a week - but climb, not so sure I can picture this.  I can't actually picture him playing volleyball either.

Anyway, my brother mentioned christmas trees and cookie decorating, which you may know is one of my favorite things to do.  I absolutely love decorating cookies.

Now, I am going to go look for something to do.
