"We gain strength, and courage, and confidence by each experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face... we must do that which we think we cannot." Eleanor Roosevelt

Alone
I just feel really alone. More so than normal. I feel like I have no one.
And, of course, the internets. Them's gotta be good enough at least to remind you that you do have real life people who love you and who you love. Right?
Of course, there's all of us. And, as Julia pointed out, your brother and nephew.
But I've had that feeling often enough to know that (at least for me) trying to convince myself that I'm not actually alone doesn't help all that much. What helps me a little is to tell myself that *everyone* feels alone at least some of the time and that I won't always feel this way.
Have you ever found something -- a mantra or a distraction -- that works for you?
